Yes — we work with all statutory and private health insurers in Germany. For medically prescribed aids, your insurer usually covers the majority of the cost. We handle the application and paperwork for you.
Please bring your health insurance card and, if available, a doctor's prescription. For follow-up care, previous fitting documents are helpful. We'll discuss everything else together at the appointment.
It depends on the type of care. Compression stockings can often be handed out the same day. Custom insoles, orthoses, or prostheses may take a bit longer depending on complexity and insurance approval — we'll inform you individually.
Yes — for patients who cannot come to our workshop, we offer home visits throughout greater Bremen and the surrounding area. Please mention this when booking your appointment.
Statutory insurance holders typically pay a 10% co-payment, at least €5 and at most €10 per aid. Children under 18 are exempt. Feel free to ask us — we'll advise you individually on your co-payment.
Yes — you don't need a prescription for a consultation. For insurance-covered care, however, we need a doctor's prescription. We're happy to advise which option suits you.
Yes — we repair orthoses, prostheses, and medical aids regardless of where they were originally purchased. Many repairs are completed the same day.
